<p>Effect of Addition <em>Whey Protein Isolate</em> with Different Percentages of Total Titratable Acidity, Syneresis, and Water Holding Capacity of Cow's Milk Yoghurt. <strong>The aim</strong> of this research is to find out the addition WPI to Total Titratable Acidity (TTA), syneresis, and <em>Water Holding Capacity </em>(WHC) cow's milk yohgurt. <strong>The materials</strong> used include 4000 gr cow's milk, 40 gr WPI and 4 gr yoghurt starter. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consisted of control (P<sub>0</sub>), the addition of WPI as much as 0,5% (P<sub>1</sub>), 1,0% (P<sub>2</sub>), 1,5% (P<sub>3</sub>), and 2,0% (P<sub>4</sub>) of the total milk. The variables measured were TAT, syneresis, and <em>Water Holding Capacity</em> (WHC). The research data obtained were analyzed for variance and further testing using the orthogonal polynomial test. <strong>The results</strong> showed that the addition of WPI had a significant (P<0,05) effect on TAT, and no significant (P>0,05) effect on syneresis and WHC. TAT values between 1.19±0.13 to 1.56±0.24, syneresis between 47.43± 6.54 to 38.59±5.41, WHC between 33.09±6.81 to 32.91±8.39. <strong>In conclusion</strong>, the addition of WPI to cow's milk yogurt can increase TAT, without changing the syneresis and WHC values.</p>Irvie RahmataniaJuni SumarmonoTriana Setyawardani

<p><strong>Background</strong> Background. One of the diseases that attack goats is intestinal worms which can cause a decrease in livestock productivity and receive less attention from breeders. This study aims to determine the prevalence of trematodiasis, the types of trematode eggs that are distributed, and to examine the effect of age on trematodiasis in goats in Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. <strong>Methodology</strong>. The research material was in the form of 99 samples of goat feces with the age categories of kid (3-5 months), youth (6-12 months), and adults (> 12 months). The research methods used were surveys and laboratory tests so that the data obtained was in the form of interviews and the results of examining stool samples using the sedimentation method. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis and Chi-square analysis. <strong>Results</strong>. The prevalence of trematodiasis in goats in Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency was 32.32%. The type of trematode eggs found was <em>Fasciola</em> sp. (31.31%) and <em>Paramphistomum</em> sp. (1.01%). The results of the Chi-square analysis showed that there was a very significant difference indicating that age had a very significant effect on trematodiasis. <strong>Conclusion</strong>. The conclusion from the results of this study, the prevalence of trematodiasis in goats in Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency was relatively high with the results of identification of trematode eggs found to be <em>Fasciola</em> sp. and <em>Paramphistomum</em> sp., as well as the age factor of the livestock greatly influences trematodiasis.</p>Rania CattleyaDiana IndrasantiEndro Yuwono

<p>Complete Rumen Modifier (CRM) is a feed supplement consisting of several components and mixtures that act as defamatory, methanogenesis inhibitors, bacterial growth factors, and triggers for fiber digestion. Feed supplements can be used to stimulate growth, prevent disease and improve the quality of rations. Tempe dregs and rice straws are wastes that can be used as ruminant animal feed, however, both are of low quality and high in crude fiber content. The high crude fiber affects the digestibility and consumption of feed, so it is necessary to treat it to improve the quality of the feed ingredients. Tempe dregs given to livestock are processed by drying beforehand while rice straw is treated chemically, namely by the ammonia method. This study aims to determine the effect of replacing Tempe dregs with concentrate and suplementation of CRM on the consumption and digestibility of dry matter for sheep feed. The material used were 18 rams aged 7-8 months. This research was carried out experimentally with the RAK analysis model as a group, namely the initial weight of sheep after feed adaptation in as many as 6 groups that served as replicates. The feed given to the sheep were concentrate in the control treatment (P1) and tempe dregs (P2 and P3) 2.5% of body weight. The treatments tested were P1: concentrate 2.5% of body weight (based on BK) + ammoniated rice straw (JPA) ad libitum, P2: dregs of tempe 2.5% of body weight (based on BK) + ammoniated rice straw (JPA) ad libitum, P3 : P2 + CRM 1%. The observed variables included consumption and dry matter digestibility of the feed. The results showed that replacing tempe dregs with concentrate and CRM supplementation had a very significant (P<0.01) effect on dry matter consumption and a significant effect (P<0.05) on feed dry matter digestibility. <p>The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Complete Rumen Modifier (CRM) administration on dry matter consumption and digestibility of male Bali cattle feed and to provide a solution to prevent acidosis in cattle. The material used was 3 male Bali cattle aged 24 months with an average body weight of 209 kg. The research design used RBSL 3x3, the treatments tested were P1 (rice straw + 2% concentrate of body weight), P2 (P1 + CRM 0.5% from DM concentrate), and P3 (P1 + CRM 1% from DM concentrate). The variables measured were consumption and digestibility of dry matter (BK), the data obtained was tested using analysis of variance and the Orthogonal Polynomial test. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treated feed had a significant effect (P<0.05) on consumption and dry matter digestibility (BK). The Orthogonal Polynomial test shows that the higher the administration of CRM up to 1% level, the consumption and digestibility of dry matter increases linearly respectively with the equation y = 4,41x + 63,10 with r<sup>2</sup>=0,50 dan y = 5,79x + 70,43 with r<sup>2</sup>=0,84. <p>The research "Index of Reproduction and Productivity of Sakub Sheep in Paguyangan<br>District of Brebes" aims to find out the pre-weaning mortality, litter size, lambing interval,<br>and weaning weight in Sakub sheep; to study the reproduction index of Sakub ewe in the<br>area of Paguyangan district of Brebes district; and to study productivity of Sakub ewe in the<br>area of Paguyangan districts of Brebes. The research was carried out for three weeks, from<br>July 1, 2023, to July 22, 2023, in a group of sheep farms in the Paguyangan district of Brebes,<br>Central Java. The research material used is Sakub sheep belonging to the Department of<br>Farming and Farmers, which is incorporated into the Sakub Sheep farming group in the<br>Paguyangan district, Brebes District, Central Java, purposefully sampling as much as 25% of<br>the 160 population of Sakub ewe that have a criterion of age 2–3 years with parities 2 and<br>3. Research tools and materials consist of Sakub sheep reproduction data questionnaires,<br>logbooks, office stationery, digital scales, and water hose. The research was done using the<br>survey method. The variables measured included prenatal mortality, litter size, lambing<br>interval, weaning weight, maternal reproduction index, and maternal productivity. Analysis<br>of research data using presentative descriptive analysis to find out the primary<br>reproductive index and primary productivity using the formula. The research results<br>showed that the average litter size, pre-weaning mortality, lambing interval, weaning<br>weight, maternal reproductive index, and productivity of Sakub sheep in Paguyangan<br>District, Brebes Regency were each 1.74 head/ewe/birth; 18.18%; 0.65 years; 14.80 kg;<br>2.20 head/ewe/year; 32.56 kg/ewe/year, respectively. It was concluded that Sakub sheep<br>had advantages in terms of litter size, lambing interval, maternal reproductive index,<br>weaning weight and maternal productivity. <p>Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Sawojajar <em>Farm</em> bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian onggok terhadap konsumsi pakan dan PBBH sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO). Materi yang digunakan yaitu 36 unit percobaan sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) dengan bobot badan 500-600 kg. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan dan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 3 perlakuan dan 12 ulangan yang dibantu dengan program exel 2010. Nilai konsumsi pakan perlakuan P1, P2, dan P3 berturut turut adalah 16,11 ± 0,99 kg, 16,70 ± 1,25 kg, dan 16,91 ± 1,53 kg. Nilai PBBH 0,23 ± 0,18 kg (P1), 0,37 ± 0,18 kg (P2), dan 0,70 ± 0,40 kg (P3). <p>Penelitian dengan judul “Pengaruh Pemberian Probiotik Pada Hay Indigofera Sp terhadap Konsumsi Bahan Kering, Konsumsi Serat Kasar, dan Total Digestible Nutrient Pada Domba Priangan” bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan Probiotik dengan kadar yang berbeda pada pakan terhadap konsumsi bahan kering, konsumsi serat kasar, dan konsumsi Total Digestible Nutrient domba Priangan jantan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Oktober 2022 sampai 2 Desember 2022, di Kafilah Farm Karangklesem Purwokerto Selatan, Green House Experimental Farm dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan Cross Over Design dengan 3 periode, 3 perlakuan, menggunakan 3 ekor domba Priangan jantan. Perlakuan yang berpengaruh diuji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu P0 = 50% Konsentrat komersial + 30% Indigofera sp kering + 20% Kangkung kering; P1 = P0 + 2% Probiotik dalam BK ransum; P2 = P0 + 4% Probiotik dalam BK ransum. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh rataan konsumsi bahan kering pada kering P0, P1, P2 berturut - turut 811.18 ± 6.56; 723.28 ± 30.13; 902.86 ± 28.28 gram/ekor/hari, Sedangkan rataan konsumsi serat kasar pada P0, P1, P2 berturut - turut 130.66 ± 1.06; 116.50 ± 4.85; 145.43 ± 4.55 gram/ekor/hari, dan rataan konsumsi Total Digestible Nutrient pada 709.04 ± 5.73; 632.21 ± 26.34; 789.18 ± 24.72 gram/ekor/hari. <p>ABSTRAK</p> <p>Peternakan ayam broiler di New ASSA Farm di Desa Tambakmulyo, Kecamatan Puring, Kebumen, merupakan usaha yang menjanjikan dengan fokus pada kandang closed house. Ayam broiler memiliki keunggulan produksi yang tinggi dalam waktu singkat, membutuhkan pemeliharaan optimal, dan memperoleh performa terukur melalui indikator seperti mortalitas, konsumsi pakan, bobot badan, rasio konversi pakan (FCR), dan Indeks Performans (IP). Kandang closed house menjadi faktor kunci dalam kesuksesan pemeliharaan, mempengaruhi kenyamanan dan produktivitas ayam. Manajemen perkandangan dan pemeliharaan sangat penting, dengan elemen-elemen seperti pemilihan bibit, pemberian pakan, biosecurity, dan manajemen kesehatan memainkan peran utama. Di New ASSA Farm, pola kemitraan dengan PT XYZ telah berlangsung selama 5 tahun dengan penentuan bonus berdasarkan nilai IP. Meskipun terjadi penurunan nilai IP dari 401 menjadi 322 pada periode terakhir, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati, mempelajari, dan memberikan strategi untuk memperbaiki performa ayam broiler. Materi dan metode penelitian melibatkan observasi, pengumpulan data, dan perhitungan performa ayam broiler. Faktor seperti bibit, pakan, manajemen perkandangan, dan program kesehatan menjadi fokus untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi. The closed-house structure is a key factor in the success of poultry farming, influencing the comfort and productivity of the flock. The management of housing and care is crucial, with elements such as breed selection, feeding, biosecurity, and health management playing pivotal roles. At New ASSA Farm, a partnership model with PT XYZ has been in place for 5 years, determining bonuses based on the PI value. <p>The internship entitled "The Effect of Environmental Conditions in Cages Between Open House Cages and Semi-Closed Houses on the Performance of Broiler Chickens on the Performance of Broiler Chickens at PT BUSS Sukabumi" was held on September 15 2021 to December 25 2021, at PT. Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera, Sukabumi, West Java. The purpose of this internship is to analyze the influence of environmental conditions in the cage between open house and semi closed house cages. The method used in this internship is carrying out broiler maintenance activities with a focus on observing the environmental conditions of the cage and the performance of broiler chickens. The target of the internship is broiler chicken farm at PT. Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera. The material used in open house cages was Cobb strain chickens with a total of 6500 population while for semi closed house cages using Rose strain chickens with a population of 12,103 population. The observation took place at PT. Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera. The variables observed were body weight, body weight gain, mortality, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and IP in chickens kept in open house and semi closed house cages. Performance in the open house cage in the fourth week resulted in a body weight of 1530 g with a PBB of 573 g with a mortality rate of 4.75%, then the FCR obtained was 1.48, and the IP was 350. Performance in the semi closed house cage in the fourth week resulted in body weight 1552 g with PBB of 578 g, the mortality rate was 4.34%, then the FCR was 1.43, and the IP was 372. When compared to the open house cage, the temperature in the semi-closed house cage is more conducive to broiler chicken growth. Broiler chickens perform differently in open-house and semi-closed-house cages due to variations in temperature and humidity. <p>The number of members and the length of time the PE Ras Kaligesing Goat Farming group was formed in Kaligesing District has an important role because it influences the social capital of the breeder group. The aims of this study were (1) the number of members and how long the Goat Breeders Group was formed PE. (2) How is the social capital of the PE goat breeder group in Kaligesing. (3) How is the relationship the number of members and the length of time the group was formed with the social capital of PE Goat Breeders in Kaligesing. This study uses a survey method. Determination of the research area is carried out using purposive sampling method in Kaligesing District which is the center of livestock development PE Goat. Kaligesing District has 21 villages, 15% of which are sampled villages. Village selection randomly carried out as many as 3 villages from the number of villages that have PE Goat Breeders groups, Pandanrejo Village, Donorejo Village and Tawangsari Village were selected. The number of respondents is calculated using slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%, obtained by 70 respondents. Selection of respondents taken at random. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and rank correlation analysis spearmen. The results showed that the number of goat breeders in the Kaligesing District members in the moderate category with an average number of 17.57, the length of time the group was formed in the category long enough and the social capital of the breeder group is in the quite high category. <p>Pendapatan peternak dalam menjalankan usaha ternak potong dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik peternak. Karakteristik peternak yang dimaksud dalam penelitian meliputi lama beternak, umur peternak, tingkat pendidikan, dan jumlah sapi yang dipelihara. Seperti diketahui biaya operasional terbanyak dalam usaha peternakan merupakan biaya pakan kurang lebih 60- 70 %, dengan mengintegrasikan kegiatan pemeliharaan ternak dengan kegiatan usaha tani lainnya akan dihasilkan efisiensi biaya produksi yang tinggi. Pemeliharaan ternak dengan cara digembalakan bisa menjadi penekan dalam menurunkan biaya pakan. Peternak di Kecamatan Cibalong menggembalakan ternaknya di perkebunan karet milik PT Miramare. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pendapatan, karakteristik peternak, dan pengaruh lama beternak, umur peternak, tingkat pendidikan dan jumlah sapi yang dipelihara terhadap pendapatan peternak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik purposive. Uji peternak sapi yang menggembalakan sapinya di perkebunan karet PT Miramare Kecamatan Cibalong Kabupaten Garut. Dengan metode Quota. Sebanyak 30 Peternak. Analisi pendapatan didapat dari hasil pengurangan penerimaan dengan biaya produksi, analisis karakteristik didapat dari analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda digunakan untuk meguji pengaruh antara variabel <em>independent</em> dengan variabel <em>dependent</em>. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data, maka peneliti menyimpulkan rata-rata umur peternak, lama beternak, tingkat pendidikan dan jumlah sapi yang dipelihara secara berurutan yaitu 50,8 tahun, 7,4 tahun, 7 tahun dan 4,5 ST. <p>GANIS MUFLIHAH. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan minyak safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) dan inositol terhadap bobot putih dan kuning telur ayam Sentul. Materi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 81 ekor ayam Sentul betina berumur 16 minggu dengan menggunakan sampel telur sebanyak 243 butir telur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 9 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri dari 4 ekor ayam Sentul betina. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0 = Pakan Basal/ kontrol; R1 = Pakan Basal + Minyak safflower 0,5%; R2 = Pakan Basal + Minyak safflower 1,0%; R3= Pakan Basal + Inositol 0,5%; R4 = Pakan Basal + Inositol 1,0%; R5 = Pakan Basal + Minyak safflower 0,5% dan inositol 0,5%; R6 = Pakan Basal + Minyak safflower 0,5% dan inositol 1,0%; R7 = Pakan Basal + Minyak safflower 1,0% dan inositol 0,5%, dan R8 = Pakan Basal + Minyak safflower 1,0% dan inositol 1,0%. Variabel yang diukur yaitu bobot putih dan kuning telur. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunakan minyak safflower dan inositol berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot putih dan kuning telur. Rataan bobot putih telur diperoleh 20,94 ± 3,53 (g) sampai dengan 18,57 ± 1,12 (g), sedangkan rataan bobot kuning telur diperoleh 12,84 ± 1,78 (g) sampai dengan 10,99 ± 0,16 (g). <p><strong>Latar Belakang</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan kulit singkong yang kaya karbohidrat untuk pakan domba Wonosobo. </span><strong>Materi dan Metode</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Ternak domba yang digunakan sebanyak dua puluh ekor masing-masing sepuluh ekor dari jenis lokal dan domba Wonosobo. Pakan terdiri dari hijauan (60%) dan konsentrat (40%). Konsentrat A: kulit singkong (55%), bungkil kelapa (45%) dan mineral sedang konsentrat B: dedak padi (80%) dan bungkil kelapa (20%) dan mineral. Pakan sebanyak 4% bobot badan (BK). Pakan mengandung PK 14,95-16,10% dan TDN 16-16,10%. Rancangan percobaan dengan RAL pola tersarang, perlakuan pakan tersarang pada jenis domba. Setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali. </span><strong>Hasil</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Perlakuan konsentrat A berpengaruh pada rataan pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), pertambahan bobot badan harian (pbbh) dan bobot akhir (BB) berturut-turut sebesar 5,61kg; 95,58g; 27,08kg pada domba lokal dan 5,46kg; 94,24g; 30,40kg pada domba Wonosobo. Perlakuan konsentrat B berpengaruh terhadap PBB; pbbh dan BB sebesar 5,0kg; 75,16g; 24,30kg pada domba lokal dan 5,5kg; 109,90g; 29,83kg pada domba Wonosobo (P>0,05). PBB, pbbh dan BB domba lokal adalah 5,31kg; 65,37g; 25,69kg sedang pada domba Wonosobo adalah 5,45kg; 101,9g; 29,83kg (P>0,05). </span><strong>Kesimpulan</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">.
