PRODUKTIVITAS USAHA AYAM BROILER STUDI KASUS PADA PT GSU DI KABUPATEN SERANG
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa produksi ayam broiler di PT Ayam Gunungsari Utama (GSU), Kabupaten Serang, meliputi biaya produksi, penerimaan, pendapatan, dan kelayakan usaha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non eksperimental atau studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi yang mencakup rentang waktu dari tahun 2021 hingga 2023. Analisis data terdiri dari analisis deskriptif, produksi, dan ekonomi. Analisis deskriptif memberikan gambaran sistematis tentang keadaan usaha, sedangkan analisis produksi mencakup persentase deplesi, daya hidup, bobot panen, FCR, umur panen, dan indeks produksi (IP). Analisis ekonomi mencakup biaya produksi, penerimaan, pendapatan, BEP, R/C ratio, dan rentabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas produksi rata-rata mencapai 2.052.871 ekor/tahun dengan total bobot ayam hidup sebesar 3.223 ton/tahun. Indeks produksi (IP) berkisar antara 255 hingga 410, dengan rata-rata IP sebesar 321. Total keuntungan yang diperoleh adalah Rp 14.054.284.453, dengan rasio keuntungan (R/C) sebesar 1,08. Meskipun produktivitas usaha ayam broiler di PT GSU cukup baik, variasi dalam indeks produksi menunjukkan adanya fluktuasi efisiensi produksi yang memerlukan peningkatan untuk meningkatkan margin keuntungan.
